We are an independent day nursery in Uxbridge, created to give children the confidence to explore, the care to feel secure, and the freedom to take their own giant steps forward.
A nursery with a story
Small beginnings, giant possibilities
Little Giants is based in the Old School House, a characterful building that was once part of the Brunel University campus. Our name is inspired by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, whose modest height and extraordinary ambition earned him the nickname Little Giant.
Brunel's motto, en avant, means keep moving forward. That spirit runs through nursery life here. We help children test ideas, learn through play, build independence, and feel proud of every new step.

Our team
People who notice the little things
Our nursery team is led by manager Vanessa Robinson and deputy manager Julia Gierlasinska. Together, they bring long-standing early years experience, a love of creative learning, and a shared focus on children's emotional wellbeing.
The strongest early education begins with attentive relationships. Our team listens to families, observes each child carefully, and plans support that helps confidence, communication, independence, and curiosity grow together.
Children arrive happy and eager to start their day, and staff welcome them with warmth.
