Our environment
Rooms, gardens, and space to discover
Little Giants is set within the Old School House on Hillingdon Road. Inside, light-filled rooms offer distinct places for movement, stories, role play, construction, investigation, rest, and creative work.

Designed at child height
Spaces that invite children to take part
Resources are arranged where children can see, choose, and return them. Low furniture, open floor areas, cosy corners, and clearly defined activity zones help children move between energetic and focused play.
The environment changes as educators follow current interests and next steps. A familiar book can become a small-world scene, an empty table can host number investigations, and loose parts can become an engineering challenge.

Outdoor learning
Fresh air, movement, nature, and managed risk
The nursery's two gardens, including a baby garden, extend the curriculum outside. Children can move at a bigger scale, notice weather and seasons, care for growing things, and investigate sand, water, sound, and motion.
Good outdoor provision offers challenge as well as safety. Educators help children judge space, try physical skills, solve problems, and become more confident in what their bodies can do.
- Daily opportunities for gross-motor development
- Nature and seasonal observation
- Open-ended materials that change with children's ideas
- A separate outdoor area for the youngest children
